Building Communities. Empowering Lives.
Since 1967, Near North Development Corporation (NNDC) has been committed to addressing the deterioration of affordable housing and improving the quality of life for residents of Chicago’s Near North Side community. Founded by longtime residents who wanted to stabilize and strengthen the neighborhood, NNDC works to ensure that low- and moderate-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities have access to safe, quality, and affordable homes.
Over the years, NNDC has assisted in the development of more than 369 affordable housing units across the community. These efforts have not only provided stable housing options but have also helped preserve the rich diversity of North Town by supporting residents of varied cultures, income levels, and backgrounds.
